The quality of the wood is good and it has a substantial feel compared to garden center ones of similar price but check out the height (I did not notice it when I ordered it). Tall people have to duck if you use it as a garden entry. We could not sink it into the ground because of this, but instead put it on stone footings and then had to put rope and a stake to keep it from blowing over. Good for decor, but not as an entry piece.
